My daughter and I were in England this spring for a Band trip. We had a fabulous time together. In Oxford, our last place to visit, I browsed the Magazine stands and bought a CraftsBeautiful magazine with this great stamp in it and it included the papers, too! So I pulled them out to play with finally!
We're continuing to watch all the Olympics. My oldest loves Synchro so we were up this morning to watch the duet finals. Our Canadians routine was so dynamic!

Laurie! I love this (I know, you're not surprised, are you?). That is ONE cute card! Hugs, Emma x
ReplyDeleteThanks, Emma, you know I was thinking of you while I worked on this!
DeleteIt doesn't get much more British than that! What a great card :) And I see the red post box and the telephone box peeking out at the back. Very appropriate!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kay, my daughter thought it would be fun to prop it up with these little souvenirs, I'm glad you noticed.
DeleteI love all the London you have packed onto this fun card, Laurie!! Fabulous papers and iconic images make this card a delight!
ReplyDeleteWith that stamp and those papers you couldn't go wrong. :) I love everything about your card. The stamp screams England, and so do the papers. (Wishing I could get my hands on those papers, myself.) I also love the layout, and your creative props in the picture.
ReplyDeleteThat is an awesome card, and what a great find!
ReplyDeleteIn response to your comment about the blog roll, have you discovered Google Reader? It's really good and lets you keep track of as many blogs as you like.
I'd say you definitely met the challenge-what a great London card!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fab challenge card, love the papers and stamp!
