Festive Flurry Snowflake Garland Banner

You know me and my love for simple festive banners. I think they brighten any room, any time! I had this in mind for some time, a bunch of Snowflakes strung up, so fun and easy.
Last night, I had a deadline to write up a little article for my local library newsletter, so it was a perfect time to pull it together.
I stamped and cut with the framelits several of these and then stapled them to curling ribbon. Viola!

I had a few leftover felt flurry snowflakes from a few years ago so put a few of those interspersed on, too. A couple rhinestones added a little more glitter on a few, and I think I might use a few more.
This will be nice right through till Spring around here...Let it Snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!

A Little Dash of Christmas Joy

I saw the shape of this card online the other day and couldn't wait to make it. I think it turned out quite pretty in the blue and white and with the little Dasher from the Best of Christmas set! The card uses most of a half of a piece of paper and is folded and cut with the Deco Label framelit. I love the way the Endless Wishes is able to fit nicely around the little Reindeer..I'd say that is my favourite new set (today...).

The card also features Evergreen, which I can't believe I didn't buy until this year...between the versatility of the base tree and the beautiful words to accent it or this fun little outline that I embossed with silver over Slate ink...it's a wonderful set!
I gave it to a girlfriend who is off to Australia for the winter, to remind her of the snow she's leaving behind...nice deal she has with a never-ending summer, splitting her time between here and there!
